Educational Qualification: Candidates Should have M.Sc (Agriculture) specialization in Entomology, Pathology, Agronomy, Soil science, Plant Physiology or any other related disciplines. (or) M.Sc/M.Tech in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics and Spatial Information Technology Desirable: Experience in field studies and statistical analysis of field and laboratory data, processing Hyperspectral remote sensing data /imaging spectrometry of ground, air or satellite-based sensors with knowledge on programming IDL and optimization techniques.

Pay Scale: INR Rs.25,000/- +30% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd Year; Rs.28,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd Year

The applicant must bring with them detailed bio-data, original documents, attested copies of certificates of age and qualifications, a brief of research work done during post graduation, reprints and one passport size color photograph at the time of the interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

JRF- Remote Sensing

Applications are invited for ONE Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a research project entitled, "Water quality studies of Rivers and Reservoirs / Lakes using Hyperspectral Remote Sensing" funded by Deparment of Science & Technology, GOI, New Delhi.

The Research Project involves water quality studies in field, lab and algorithm development with special reference to Hyperspectral Remote Sensing

Position: Junior Research Fellow 

Emoluments: JRF - Rs.25,000 + 10% HRA/ Month fixed for initial two years and Rs. 28,000 + 10%  HRA/Month fixed for the third year as per DST norms

Duration: (upto 2019)

Qualification for JRF: A Post Graduate degree in professional courses M.E / M.Tech in Remote Sensing / GIS / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geoinformatics / Hydrogeoinformatics / Environmental Science & Engineering
